Claes Johansson has worked on seven global Human Development Reports and led the statistics team for the 2006 report. He has extensive experience in measurement issues regarding human development, including the human development index and other composite indices. He also has worked in such subject areas as democracy, technology, environment, aid and trade. He has a master’s degree in political science from Uppsala University in Sweden.
