Timothy Scott, Policy Specialist

Timothy Scott is the author and co-editor of numerous national human development reports, and has supported work on the 2005, 2006 and 2007 global reports. He has over 10 years of international development experience at UNDP, as well with other UN agencies, programs of multilateral and bilateral donors, and national and international NGOs. Tim’s consulting and management experiences cover such fields as public policymaking and administration reform, trade and foreign direct investment, information and communication technologies, aid coordination and management, gender and civil society, poverty reduction strategies, and Millennium Development Goal campaigns. He has lived and worked in various transition and post-conflict countries of Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.

He has a BA from the University of New Hampshire in International Affairs and Russian studies, and an MA from the University of Virginia.
