Emmanuel Letouzé, Consultant

Expertise: Economic demography, public finance and fiscal policy for poverty reduction, post-conflict economic recovery

Emmanuel Letouzé works for the research team, coming with recent experiences with UNDP’s Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery as a Policy Specialist on post-conflict economic recovery and UNDP’s Bureau for Development Policy-Poverty Group working on fiscal policy for poverty reduction. Prior to joining UNDP in 2006, Emmanuel worked for four years in Vietnam for the French Ministry of Finance’s Technical Assistance Agency on public finance, macroeconomic and statistical issues, in Haiti as a Junior Professional Officer in the UN System and as a consultant for the World Bank. Emmanuel also conducted research on internal migration in developing countries (Vietnam, Senegal). A French national, Emmanuel studied at Sciences Po Paris where he received an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Economics and an MA in Economic Demography. He also has a Master’s in International Affairs-Economic Development from Columbia University.
