Mark Purser is a research assistant with the Research Team. Prior to joining HDRO, he worked as a research assistant in the Wholesale Power practice at ICF International in Fairfax, Virginia. He has spent time in China studying language and conducting research on microfinance. Mark holds a Bachelor’s in mathematics and economics from Wesleyan University, CT, where he wrote an honours thesis on the financial intermediation of China’s state-owned banks.
