Eleonore Fournier-Tombs manages Information and Communications Technologies at the Human Development Report Office. Before joining UNDP, she worked for Development and Peace and UNICEF in Montreal, and most recently for the UN Office of Information and Communications Technology, where she developed a platform to track high-level commitments to the Millennium Development Goals and was a member of the ICT team for the Rio + 20 Conference on Sustainable Development in Brazil. She holds a BA in Political Science and History from McGill University in Montreal and an MSc in Sustainable Development, with distinction, from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. Having just completed a Master's degree at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information and Knowledge Media Design Institute, she is particularly interested in open data and ICT4D.
