This year's Report focuses on "work and well-being" and addresses the issue of providing employment of quality. The Report aims at highlighting the relationships between growth, employment, poverty and human development. By choosing this theme, the Report underlines both the importance of work in achieving human development and the problem many Filipinos face in trying to reach a decent standard of living.
