The 2010 Human Development Report featured a 1970-2010 HDI trends analysis, identifying ’ top mover’ countries that have improved most in HDI terms over the past 40 years, using the original HDI indicators for health, education and income. The 2011 Report includes the 2011 HDI, and retroactively calculates HDI performance for countries in the 2011 HDI at five-year intervals from 1980 forwards, using the current HDI indicators.
