Alison Kennedy heads the statistics team of the Human Development Report. Before joining this office in January 2007, she was head of education statistics at the UNESCO Institute for Statistics in Montreal, Canada. She has worked as a statistician at both national and international levels for nearly twenty years mainly in the field of education statistics.
Alison Kennedy was educated in the UK. She has a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick in Coventry and an MSc in Statistics from the University of Kent at Canterbury.
