The 2012 Global Human Development Forum, hosted by the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the Government of Turkey, took place in Istanbul from 22-23 March. It convened more than 200 government representatives, policy makers, experts and opinion leaders for a dialogue on a New Deal on Sustainable Development. By acclamation, they adopted the Istanbul Declaration: Towards an Equitable and Sustainable Future for All, included at the end of this booklet.
