HDR Stats Net (JPG)

This expert forum was created in 2003 as a global platform to discuss issues related to the measurement of human development. This forum covers focused technical issues related to composite indices, data collection methods and disparities between national and international data. HDRStats-Net consists of over 800 members from national statistics offices, academia, regional statistical commissions and members of the UN family.

The objectives of the network are to:

  • Provide a forum for discussing measurement topics such as issues concerning the Millennium Development Goals, data reliability, projections and estimates, etc.;
  • Link HDR teams to cutting edge knowledge and innovations from centers of excellence around the world and to the expertise of the HDR statistical team; and

Consolidated Replies

Consolidated Replies (CRs) provide a comprehensive summary of responses to any given question, query or discussion that takes place on the network in a user friendly format designed to make key information available at a glance. CRs add value by distilling UNDP's collective experiences and knowledge, enriching them with external resources and perspectives, and making them available to our global community of practice members.
