IAFFE examines the effects of the current global economic crisis on women’s work and livelihoods and issues of migration, political participation, women’s autonomy, changing family structures, and social policies – particularly those affecting health and reproductive policies. IAFFE welcomes themes such as North-South discourses/debates on development, domestic violence, feminist ecology, caring labor, sex work, international finance, and critical engagements with the intersections of race, ethnicity, and gender.

Note that paper submissions in Spanish are welcome. The title and abstract should also be in English.

Conference Registration:
Payment of conference registration fees will open on February 1,
2010. A downloadable form for conference registration will be available
at that time. You can print out the form and either mail or fax it to
the address/fax number indicated on the form.
