The 2003-2005 National Human Development Report (NHDR)for Romania is the eighth since 1995, and focuses on local governance and human development as a key theme of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Similarly to the previous reports, this year’s report analyzes issues that are important both on individual and societal level, as well as gives policy recommendations. This year’s report addresses the significant and current issue of development in the Latvia’s regions.
This first Human Development Report from Arunachal Pradesh was launched on 21 April 2006 by the Chief Minister, Mr. Gegong Apang. The report provides an objective analysis of the state of human development in Arunachal Pradesh and serves as a good guide book for policy makers and administrators.
This Human Development Report on the State of Chhattisgarh will not only provide an outline for policy-making, but will also stimulate an honest discussion and debate on the model of development of the State in the future.
This report assesses Timor-Leste's human development progress in the context of the Millennium Development Goals. Then it focuses more specifically on poverty and the ways of reducing it, particularly through integrated rural development.
