Ms. Cecilia Ugaz, Deputy Director, Human Development Report Office will give a briefing on the UNDP’s Human Development Report prior to a hearing on Africa’s Water Crisis and the U.S. Response (the hearing starts at 3:00). The report examines the underlying causes of the global water crisis and urges the international community to bring the global water crisis back to the foreground and stresses water for life and water for livelihoods as its foundations.
