The Blue Salon: A Two-Day Symposium Devoted to the World’s Waters

Washington D.C., United States
16 and 17 June 2007

Clean and healthy global water systems are as cricital to our survival as is clean air.
Global climate changes and human development have had a drastic negative impact on the world's fresh and salt water supplies.
The Blue Salon will bring together some of the world's leading water researchers and technology innovators.
The two-day symposium will be divided into one day on fresh water, and one day on salt water, highlighting the most pressing water related issues facing us today.
Each day will begin with panels discussing the critical issues, followed by afternoon sessions focusing on solutions including breakout sessions.
The symposium will feature an exhibit displaying cutting edge technologies for reversing the destruction of global water resources and technology using water to create energy.
