Environment, Forced Migration and Social Vulnerability

HDRO will be presenting research conducted on environmentally induced forced migration.
This EFMSV-Conference will be the first conference to bring together about 400 international researchers, practitioners and professionals in order to discuss the sensitive and complex interplay of migration, environmental degradation and social vulnerability at a scientifically comprehensive and politically relevant level. It will strive to distill the current state of scientific research and debate with the perspective of providing a future outlook and policy-relevant recommendations.
Participants from various disciplines and walks of professional life are encouraged and welcome to attend – including representatives from academia, public offices and ministries, NGOs, donors and humanitarian organisations – to participate in the conference.
