The report gives a comprehensive overview of the socio-economic situation in the country six years after the Dayton agreements. Beginning with a review of
economic progress achieved in that time period, the report then looks at some critical areas of human development including unemployment, education, health care, gender equality and crime. The Report in itself is a significant achievement
since it introduces an estimate of the Human Development Index (HDI) in Bosnia Herzegovina, this in spite of subtantial limitations on population data.
