Culture & Human development

The HDR 2003 is the first macroeconomic study on culture and development in the country. The report provides an analysis of all relevant cultural aspects for Honduras' development. Such an analysis requires a field study to generate new information, data and indicators related to the national culture as a fundamental dimension of the country's development. Honduras has not developed any kind of indicators on this topic so far. Therefore a thorough study is required to identify the main elements of the Honduran culture that may facilitate or limit the country development.
