Operationalizing the MDGs in Albania

The Albania NHDR 2005 focus on Pro-Poor and Pro-Women HD issues through surveys and research at the local level dealing with perceptions on poverty and gender issues. The choice of this theme operationalizes the MDG Goals 1 and 3 and enhance their values as a tool to prioritize local development needs and establish a system of political accountability. The Albanian HDR aims at generating a debate on MDGs 1 and 3 and their policy implications within the Albanian context at all decision levels. Year: 2005 |
