The Report's central argument is that development in Ghana can be greatly improved by more focused selection and application of science and technology (S&T) to social and economic ends. The Report finds that despite a long history of official interest in S&T, Ghana still lacks sufficient S&T capacity and application. To address this, the Report concludes with a set of concrete policy recommendations, suggesting that more platforms should be created for stakeholders to come together to discuss how to create a positive environment for promoting S&T in Ghana.
