The 2000 Report assesses changes that are occurring in people’s daily lives. It also seeks to capture the expectations of the people of Azerbaijan, who are currently experiencing an unprecedented political and social transformation. Furthermore, the report stresses that a top priority for the state must be to rebuild the foundations of science and education, as well as to increase the scientific capacity.
