Posted on: January 01, 2008
The theme of the 2008 National Human Development Report is the Role of the Information Communication Technologies in Achieving the Millennium Development Goals. The report is a critical study of the conditions and process of integrating the ICTs into the various sectors of social and economic development in Mozambique, in the context of the contribution they can make in the struggle against poverty, and as a result, in the promotion of human development. The benefits of ICTs are reflected in areas such as governance, poverty alleviation, education, health, the environment and community development.
