Youth as Drivers for Sustainable Development

The 6th NHDR for Lao PDR examines the state of Lao youth, especially those most marginalized and vulnerable to being left behind. An assessment is made on the extent to which the youth have access to equal opportunities, public institutions and services, and how young people can be better supported by such institutions in fulfilling their potential.

The NHDR provides key recommendations to the Government on what investments should be made to leverage contributions of youths to the national socio-economic development, provide opportunities and support for empowered lives.
